Studiocomix as an independent comic Book press, is always looking to get new styles and different ways to tell stories in our titles, that is way we are always looking for fresh ideas, but mostly solid ideas that can promise the reader a guarantee of entertainment in the finished work.
Alfonso Espinos Chief Editor and founder of Studiocomix, with 10 years experience as an illustrator and cartoonist, who has worked for magazines like "Cariblu-lu", "Infolleto" and "The cock" among others, in recent years has consolidated it's own tittle "The night Spike" d projected titles and also manage tittles like All Jack City created by Carlos Bernal, and 2010 Jorge by Alberto Robles.
Studiocomix it's privileged to work with talented people around the globe and opening the spotlight to the new comic book artist, that is why we have the initiative to open our doors to new talents, we are currently looking for the following categories:
ARTISTS
Studiocomix always looking for talented freelancers, so that the range of work spans the full range of styles and techniques, keep in mind that we are not closed to a specific trend.The first step is if you have a website, blog or devianart, where you have a gallery of your work, and view the contents of your talent, send an email to Alfonso Espinos studiocomix Chef Editor, we recommended you to add the following points that will help us to review your work faster, please add as the tittle of the e-mail: "Artisit Subbmission", include your Full Name (not nicknames), age, phone number, country of residence, link to your website or blog and a brief explanation of why you want to see your work in printing. In case if you want to add images , please do not add more than two, please do not attach anything too big as long as not too long or heavy.
This first step will give the chance to the Chief Editor and the board may discuss your work in a generic way, so you can be sure that doesn't matter what we are going to see and review your work.
If you include pictures in your e-mail make sure to attach the ones where we can see your skills, keep in mind that comic, as sequential art includes lot of how you manage the continuity from panel to panel known as (storytelling), in case if you are not really good whit the witting stuff, here you can use the following samples script. No need to draw the entire script, with two or three pages is good enough.
In this area we consider pencils, as long as the pencils are clear and well defined, you can include in your example shades if you want, also you can submit completed pages in a digital mode.
It is clear that it is not necessary for you to include all techniques, remember that if you already have a website or gallery work where we can see your work, it's fine.
FULL PROJECT
Studiocomix are always looking for full projects, which means that many of these are drawn, written and colored by the same person, that let us know that you are the only one in charge and have the full control when it comes to your work, here we review much of what which is the general concept of your story, so you can include a brief description, to the target audience, number of pages you have planned, examples of the characters, and no more than 3 consecutive pages of your story. Important to remember:
- The work to be published can not be reprinted or a previously published by another publisher or Web publishing from any country or language, all the characters must be of your own authorship or multiple authorship (1), if so, please submit proof that the work includes more than one people.
- The published work may not contain explicit material such as nudity, racism, politics or pornography.
WRITERS
You can send us a short story, no more than 4 pages, please include the description from panel to panel and include the dialogue of the characters in case if is one. This can be one of the characters in the editorial Studiocomix or one of your own creation, please do not send us stories featuring characters from other publishers like DC or Marvel, all of these stories will be discarded automatically.Remember that the story can be writing in English or Spanish and in this case, the writer must be one single person.

COLORIST
