We haply announce that this year we went over our expectations with a Record of submissions received this year, with over 300 artist from around the world submitted their artwork with that said we officially stop receiving any new submissions until further notice, I personally want to thanks to the incredible response from all of you, and specially to all the people whom take their time to send us their incredible artwork, specially to Mexico, Spain, Argentina, Brazil, Nicaragua, United States, Greece, Italy, France, Maldives, Canada, Australia among the countries that participated this year.
Studiocomix press appreciate your participation,we may consider receiving more requests for new talent for 2015.

Studiocomix as an independent comic Book Press, is always looking to get new styles and different forms of storytelling in our titles, that is way we are always looking for new ideas, but mostly likely solid ideas that can promise the reader a guarantee of entertainment in the finished work.
Alfonso Espinos Chief Editor and founder of Studiocomix, with 10 years of experience as an illustrator and cartoonist, Video Editor and Marketing & Media Development has worked for "Cariblu-lu", "Infolleto", “Tele Latin Life”, “Latin Life Journal”, “Cambridge Libraries & Galleries” and “Studiocomix TV” among others, in recent years has consolidated its own tittle "The Night Spike" and also direct and manage titles like All Jack City created by Carlos Bernal, 2010 created by Jorge by Alberto Robles and The six Faces of a Dice created by Juan Sepulveda.
Studiocomix it's privileged to work with talented people around the globe and opening the spotlight to the new comic book artist, for this initiative we are always looking for new talented artists in the comic book field such as creators, pencilers, Inkers, Cartoonist and more.
FULL PROJECT
Studiocomix is always looking for full projects, which means that the artwork, colouring , inking and writing are done by the same person, that let us know that you are the only one in charge and you have the full control when it comes to the storytelling and creation, in this field we review of what is the general concept of your story, here you can include a brief description, to the target audience, examples of the characters, and no more than 3 consecutive pages of your story.

ARTISTS
Studiocomix is always looking for talented freelancers, we take in consideration all ranges, styles and techniques, keep in mind that we are not solely to a specific trend or style, actually the creative the best!The first step is if you have a website, blog or Devianart, where you have a gallery of your work, will be fine, you can simply apply Online HERE. This first step will give the chance to the Chief Editor and the board may discuss your work in a generic way, you can be sure we are going to review and discuss your work artwork.
If you include pictures in your submission make sure to attach the ones where we can see your skills, keep in mind that the comic as sequential art includes lot of how you manage the continuity from panel to panel known as (storytelling).
In this area we consider pencilers, as long as the pencils are clear and well defined, you can include in your example shades if you want, also you can submit completed pages in a digital format.
It is clear that it is not necessary for you to include all techniques, remember that if you already have a website or gallery work where we can see your work, it will be fine!
WRITERS
You can submit a short story, no more than 4 pages, please include the description from panel to panel and include the dialogue of the characters. When you submit your script you can use one of the Studiocomix characters or one of your own creation, please do not send us stories featuring characters from other publishers like DC or Marvel, all of these stories will be discarded automatically.Remember that the story can be in English, Spanish or Portuguese, you can simply apply Online HERE. This first step will give the chance to the Chief Editor and the board to read your script in a generic way, you can be sure we are going to review and discuss your script.
COLORIST
If you want to participate as colorist, please send us one or two images, should be in CMYK format at 600dpi 26x18. if you want to send the link to your website or gallery that will be fine too.
You can simply apply Online HERE. This first step will give the chance to the Chief Editor and the board to see your artwork in a generic way, you can be sure we are going to review and discuss your artwork.

GENERAL GUIDELINES
Please make sure to keep in mind of
this general guidelines when submitting your artwork, will be certain
exceptions of the guidelines in case if we determinate that we can
spotlight your artwork.
- All the characters include in your
submission must be of your own authorship or multiple authorship, in
case if applicable you can submit your artwork using one of the
Studiocomix characters
- The work to be published cannot be
reprinted or a previously published by another publisher or web
publishing from any country or language, we want to see new ideas and
concepts.
- We have a standard format in the
comic book printed titles that will be a minimum of 16 pages and a
maximum of 24 pages done in one single color (Black) you can consider
shades in the whole Black scale however we don’t consider color
pages (yet) so if you are going to submit inside pages in color,
please be aware that your submission may be waiting for a while, the
covers are in full color (same as the back covers and the inside
covers), so here is where you can display that talent.
We definitely want to see and read in
our submissions all kind of styles like Science Fiction, Horror,
Romance, Action, Humor, Super Heroes, Underground, Alternative,
Western, Wars, Zines, Graphic Novels or Cartoon, we are open to have
the variety of content of diversity in the drawing styles, we avoid
artwork and scripts being based in topics that may cause to the final
product to be hampering circulation in the market so we do not
recommend you to submit any explicit material such as Nudity, Racism,
politics or pornography.
